Methodology
How STA works
STA watches trending Solana tokens and reports measurable facts: copycat names, concentrated holders, unlocked liquidity and confirmed liquidity pulls.
What we track
Every 5 minutes we read the trending, new and top-volume Solana pool lists. Tokens with at least $20K of liquidity and under $100M market cap enter our watch list.
Our red flags
- Copycat name: other Solana tokens already use the same ticker.
- Concentrated holders: the top 10 wallets hold 40% or more of the supply.
- Low trust score: GeckoTerminal trust score below 40/100.
- RugCheck risks: risks reported by RugCheck, such as unlocked liquidity.
- Disguised name: hidden Unicode characters in the name, for example a character that flips the text so that "SOAHC" displays as "CHAOS".
Our Telegram channel only posts tokens with at least 2 red flags and $50K+ of liquidity. All other tokens are still tracked silently: tokens with no red flag are our control group.
How a liquidity pull is confirmed
We read each token's liquidity every minute. A pull is confirmed after two consecutive readings below 30% of its peak liquidity, with less than $1K traded in the last 5 minutes. The volume check removes pools that data providers report at $0 while they are still trading.
What we don't do
- No token, no paid calls.
- No judgement on anyone's intent: a liquidity pull is a measured fact.
- No financial advice. Our data can be wrong or late: always do your own research.
Track record
We publish our pull rates, including for tokens we did not flag: see the live statistics.
